ABOUT GRACE
Grace Eggleston is a wildlife cinematographer and documentary filmmaker from Michigan. With experience both behind the camera and in the edit suite, she’s particularly passionate about stories that explore the ties between people and their environment. Grace works as a cinematographer for a wide range of production companies and has extensive experience camping in and filming the diverse forests, rivers, and islands of North America. She has worked on many stories about water quality and species diversity across the U.S. Many of her projects have taken her around the Midwest and American Southeast, from the Great Lakes and the Chesapeake Bay to the Florida Keys.
Grace is an FAA-certified drone pilot and a certified Wilderness First Responder. She currently owns a Sony FX6 kit and a Mavic 3 Pro drone, and is familiar with a wide range of Sony, Canon, and RED cameras. She earned her MFA from American University’s Center for Environmental Filmmaking in Washington, D.C. and is a proud member of the Wildlife Cinematographer Diversity Fund.
