ABOUT GRACE
Grace is a documentary filmmaker and wildlife cinematographer from Michigan. With experience both behind the camera and in the edit suite, she’s passionate about stories that explore the ties between people and their environment. Grace works as a freelance cinematographer for a wide range of production companies, and has filmed for the National Park Service, the National Wildlife Federation, PBS, and National Geographic.
Grace loves to highlight women in film, science, and the outdoors in her own projects, and often works on stories about water quality and species diversity. Her projects have taken her around the country, from the coast of Maine to the Rocky Mountains and everywhere in between. She feels most at home while camping in and filming the forests, rivers, and islands of North America.
Grace is an FAA-certified drone pilot and a certified Wilderness First Responder. She currently owns a Sony FX6 kit and a Mavic 3 Pro drone, and is familiar with a wide range of Sony, Canon, and RED cameras. She earned her MFA from American University’s Center for Environmental Filmmaking in Washington, D.C., and is a proud member of the Wildlife Cinematographer Diversity Fund.
